How do I schedule a shoot?
  Simply CALL US at 248 320 1943 to discuss your specific needs and to schedule a shoot.  We can often take care of scheduling within 15 minutes.  
 
 
 
Can I customize a package?
  Of course.  We offer image packages ranging from 20-50 images.  View the PACKAGES page for details.  You can include ADD-ON SERVICES such as elevated images and print marketing development.  If you have a unique situation, call us and we'll create a package just for you.  
 
 
 
How far out do I need to schedule?
  We can shoot on a day and time of your choosing, often same-day or next-day.  We shoot seven days a week.  
 
 
 
How long does it take to
photograph a home?
  Sessions typically last 45-120 minutes, depending on the number of images and the condition of the home.

Properties should be "photo ready."  Photographers CANNOT WAIT for cleaning or staging to occur.  Please visit the PREP STEPS page for a suggest checklist on how to prepare for the shoot.
 
 
 
 
What if we need a return
visit to the property?
  Return visits to any property are $50 plus $10 / image.  In the case that we failed to photograph an image that you requested in writing prior to the first shoot, we will return to capture that image at no additional cost.  
 
 
 
When will the images be ready?
  Image delivery is guaranteed by midnight the day after the shoot takes place.  Images are delivered via digital download.  You will receive a link from WeTransfer.com, our download service, directing you to the images.  Just contact us if you need help downloading and using the images.  
 
 
 
Do I need to be at the
property during the shoot?
  Yes.  It's easiest to photograph homes when one adult is present to assist but when children may be out of the home.  We love animals and will photograph properties with pets as long as they are crated or penned in a space not being photographed.  
 
 
 
Do you photograph every room, garages, and basements?
  Typically, common areas such as kitchens, foyers, living rooms, and dining rooms are photographed, along with the master suite.  We always include at least one image of the property exterior.    Secondary bedrooms, mud rooms, laundry rooms, and unfinished basements may or may not be photographed, depending on how well they show and how many images you select for your collection.  We will consult with you to ensure we feature the highlights of the property.  Unless you specifically request an image in advance of the shoot, we will use our discretion and creativity to best feature the property.  
 
 
 
Do you stage properties?
  We specialize in high-quality photography and visual marketing services.  As such, we are not professional stagers.  For liability reasons, we do not move furniture or personal objects.  We can Photoshop out unsightly objects after the fact for an advanced editing fee.  We ask that properties be "photo ready" upon arrival.  Please visit the PREP STEPS page for a checklist on how to prepare before we arrive.  We are also happy to refer you to a home staging professional.  
 
 
 
How do I pay for the images?
  We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover (sorry, no checks).  We will request payment information at the time of scheduling and will charge your card moments before sending your images via download.  We will include a PDF paid-in-full invoice in the download for your records.  
 
 
 
What size are the images?
  We deliver images in two sizes:  1024px wide at 72ppi for low-resolution (web use) including on sites such as zillow.com.  We will also delivery images in approximately 12"x8" at 300ppi for print marketing.  
 
 
 
What equipment do you use?
  We use only professional eqiupment, including camera bodies, wide-angle lenses, tripods, mounts, and flashes.  We do not use fisheye lenses that distort and unnaturally enlargen rooms.  
 
 
 
Who are your photographers?
  We work with top-notch professional photographers who receive extensive training in the "Realvues" way and who understand the unique needs of real estate photography.  
 
 
 
What is an elevated image?
 
  We offer elevations of up to approximately 16' from the ground.  Elevated images are perfect for showcasing properties with tree coverage in front of the home, extensive landscaping, or in other tricky situations.  Photograping from heightened angles creates a flattering view of any property.  Visit the ADD-ON SERVICES page for examples.
